We specialize in family dogs that combine the best of German and American lines for genetic diversity and well-rounded companions. We always put the health of the breed first so you can enjoy your new family member for as long as possible.

Thank you for inquiring about Ransomshire German Shepherds. We are dedicated breeders. We breed to outstanding stud dogs to produce high quality German Shepherds which conform to the Breed Standard and are intelligent, healthy, well-adjusted examples of the breed. We are committed to improving the health of our breed so we breed only dogs with an OFA rating of GOOD or EXCELLENT (or the equivalent). We test for DM.
We screen our prospective puppy owners and choose the homes for puppies with people who understand that they are adopting a family member who needs training and TLC to become the companion they will be proud to have by their side. If you would like to be on our waiting list for the next litter it requires an accepted questionnaire and a $500 deposit. Pups cost $3500. Occasionally a Ransomshire dog is available for sale to the right home. If you are looking for an older or already trained dog, let us know.
